Laser Lipo: Safer, more Beautiful Liposuction with Smart Lipo

www.LaserLipoGuide.com Laser liposuction is safer, easier, and produces more beautiful results than ever before. The doctor can sculpt your body with Smart Lipo using a tiny cannula and sophisticated lasers, which combined, produce precise body contouring and promote skin tightening. No sutures are required, and scars are tiny.

Laser lipo is safe and easy

Today's Smart Lipo is a much safer procedure for several reasons: Doctors use only local anesthetic when performing laser liposculpture, eliminating the high risk of general anesthesia. The tumescent technique used in most laser lipo procedures involves little or no blood loss. The small cannulas used in laser lipo surgery require only the tiniest of incisions, greatly lowering the risk of infection and bruising. Smart Lipo is an outpatient procedure, with most surgeries taking place in your physician's own clinic. You remain awake throughout the surgery, and you walk out of the clinic shortly afterward. Most patients are back to their normal routines in one or two days.

Laser lipo is permanent

Once fat cells are removed, they are gone forever. Unlike other forms of weight loss surgery, Smart Lipo results are permanent. Adults do not create new fat cells; when adults gain weight, current fat cells expand in size. During laser lipo surgery, the laser melts away the fatty tissue, and the surgeon removes the cells from the body. When fat cells are removed through laser lipo, the patient is permanently free of those fat cells. If you are ready to sculpt a beautiful new body, or if you would just like to schedule a consultation with a Smart Lipo specialist, use our doctor locator to find a Smart Lipo surgeon in your area. You will be on your way to having all the right contours in all the right places.

Smart Lipo: Information for Laser Lipo Physicians

Use the Smart Lipo laser lipo workstation from Cynosure for laser liposculpture of the chin, jowls, neck, arms, male breast, abdomen, back, flanks, buttocks, hips, thighs, and knees. The Smart Lipo system has a 1064 nm Nd:YAD laser, which improves skin tone, acts on collagen fibers, concentrates on blood vessels and fat cells, and slowly heats the skin, making it a safe option for patients.

There are three models with varying power, including 6, 12, and 18 watts, so that doctors can choose the model that best fits their practice. Higher wattage models allow greater patient throughput, and the lower wattage models are less expense and upgradable. Pulse durations vary between the different models, with 150, 200, and 250 µsec pulse durations, respectively. The Smart Lipo laser is approved by the FDA.

Traditional Liposuction vs. Smart Lipo

It is well documented that laser-assisted lipolysis, commonly known as laser liposuction or Smart Lipo, is safer and produces more beautiful results with fewer complications than traditional liposuction. When compared to patients who undergo traditional liposuction, laser liposuction patients experience faster recovery times and report a more gentle procedure. There is little or no scarring with laser lipo, and most patients experience smooth and even skin after surgery, compared to skin often being saggy and loose after traditional liposuction. Traditional liposuction surgery requires general anesthesia, which increases the risk of postoperative complications, including death in up to 1 in 100,000 patients. Laser lipo patients receive local anesthesia (numbing). Laser liposuction patients are awake and alert during their laser surgery and can communicate with their doctors, describing any discomfort or unusual sensations.
